PORT OF MIAMI TUNNEL PROJECT

Start date: October 6, 2010

Completion date: December 2013

Scope of Work: Transporting approximately 1,000,000 tons of tunnel spoils from a basin on Watson Island and Dodge Island to Virginia Key. Sorrel was an innovator in preparing over 60 trucks with water tight dump bodies, heavy duty tarps, safety bolts and a first no spill shield welded to the top of the dump bodies to prevent spills on the public roads. After 3 years on the job, Sorrel performed efficiently with an impressive safety record.

FORT LAUDERDALE AIRPORT NAVAIDS INFRASTRUCTURE

Start date: July 2012

Completion date: September 2014

Scope of Work: Transporting approximately 5,000,000 tons of embankment fill from various quarries to the Fort Lauderdale Airport. We provided over 120 trucks on this project running on a daily basis.

595 EXPANSION

Start date: December 2009

Completion date: September 2014

Scope of Work: transporting approximately 1,000,000 tons from White Rock Quarries to various sections of the 595 highway.
